Mercedes Moné has officially joined All Elite Wrestling.
After failing to come to an agreement to return to WWE, Mercedes Moné (f/k/a Sasha Banks) has officially signed with Tony Khan and AEW. The “Big Business” edition of AEW Dynamite kicked off with Mercedes Moné walking to the ring in front of a hometown crowd at TD Garden in Boston, MA.
Moné first thanked the fans for sticking with her over the years through the highs and the lows. But now, she’s here in AEW to “take care of business”.
Moné said that AEW is the only place where the revolution can be global. She can’t wait to tear it up with everyone in the locker room and noted her unfinished business with Willow Nightingale.
AEW President Tony Khan took to social media to confirm Moné’s signing.
It’s official: @MercedesVarnado is ALL ELITE!
